Beth Ann Clayton, DNP, CRNA, FAAN, FAANA, is the Program Director for the University of Cincinnati Nurse Anesthesia Program. Beth has served as a nurse anesthesia faculty member for over 25 years and is the recipient of the AANA Foundation's Helen Lamb Educator of the Year Award and the John F. Garde Research Team of the Year Award. Her clinical practice focuses on obstetric anesthesia. She is a primary contributor to the AANA Practice Guidelines Analgesia and Anesthesia for the Obstetric Patient, faculty for the AANA Spinal & Epidural with Obstetric Essentials Workshop, and a member of the AANA Foundation Closed Malpractice Claims Research Team.
