This workshop aims to support attendees in understanding the foundational concepts and mechanisms of artificial intelligence and to practice essential skills for using artificial intelligence effectively and ethically in clinical practice, education, and scholarly activities. The workshop is intended for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs), policymakers or administrative leaders in nurse anesthesia or patient safety, didactic or clinical educators, and Resident Registered Nurse Anesthetists (RRNAs).
It is strongly encouraged that attendees bring their own laptops or devices to this workshop for a greater hands-on experience.
Learning Objectives:
Describe AI governance policy considerations for related technologies, applications, responsible AI, and regulatory requirements.
Identify the key considerations to develop and appraise evidence-based guidelines and policies for the use of AI in anesthesia.
