Jeremy Heiner is a CRNA educator at Kaiser Permanente School of Anesthesia in Southern California. He maintains a clinical anesthesia practice as an independent provider, as well as working in an anesthesia care team model at a large academic medical center.
He is one of the primary editors of the textbook NURSE ANESTHESIA. He's also an author of the books Emergency Management in Anesthesia and Critical Care (EMACC), Current Anesthesia Practice, & Critical Events in Anesthesia.
Jeremy is one of the hosts of THE NURSE ANESTHESIA PODCAST, and he's a co-founder of The Nurse Anesthesia, Inc., whose mission is to establish a “commUNITY of continuous learning in anesthesia and critical care.”
He enjoys teaching Airway Management, Crisis Management, A&P, Pediatric and Trauma Anesthesia, and Anesthesia Case Management...and he especially loves orthopedic, neuro, and trauma anesthesia cases.
His favorite thing to do in the world is to spend time with his amazing wife and four kids. When he’s not doing that, you can find him on his mountain bike on his favorite Southern California trails, or behind a boat trying to wakesurf.
