Amy Yerdon is an Assistant Professor in the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Nursing and the Interim Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Program. She received her Master’s in Nurse Anesthesia (MNA) from UAB in 2011 and a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Texas Christian University in 2020. She has given local, state, regional, and national presentations on these topics and published manuscripts on hemodynamic management and teaching in the clinical setting. She previously served the Alabama Association of Nurse Anesthetists (ALANA) as Director on the board and Chair of the Professional Development Committee. She currently serves as Vice Chair of the AANA Practice Committee.
