Kevin is currently a senior at the Augusta University College of Nursing - Nursing Anesthesia program in Augusta, Georgia. His doctoral research project, titled “Combating Bias and Optimizing Anesthesia Care in Patients with Substance Use Disorder,” reflects his longstanding commitment to reducing stigma related to mental health and substance use disorder. He also wears multiple hats within the AANA with contributions to the Grade 1 View Podcast, Wellness Committee, and as a social media ambassador.
