Each region will understand the challenges and how to overcome those said challenges by meeting as regions at all AANA meetings.

States within Region 8 include: Arizona, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming.

Jason Bauer, MSN, CRNA, PHRN, FAANA is the Incoming Region Director.

Learning Objectives:

  • Discuss regional influences on nurse anesthesia practices within geographical regions as defined by the AANA.
  • Develop strategies to address the challenges to nurse anesthesia practice within the geographical regions as defined by the AANA.
