This session presents the findings of a recent closed claims review from one of the largest national malpractice insurers. Findings from claims involving anesthesia providers are presented to highlight contributing factors associated with adverse respiratory events. Current best practices and noted factors associated with standard of care and standards of practice are also presented to help inform clinical practice decisions.
